12 April 2024 - panic

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

Speaking of depressions, the 19th century had several that were on the same order of severity as the Great Depression. Back then they were called "panics", because that's how they started. Traders panicked, so that markets fell off a cliff and had to laboriously climb back up. So remember, whatever the emergency, if Trump is elected, or the separate wars merge, or Miami's asphalt melts and runs into the sea: Don't panic.
