Timezones are the dumbest idea ever, except for Daylight Saving Time. If
you fraidy-cats are gonna adjust the clock to follow the sun, do it
right. Ya got computers and GPS. Take one step to the west, and the sun
rises a fraction of a second later, so duh, it's a different time of
day. There, one simple global system that'll cause no confusion as long
as you rely on your smartphone for everything. And anybody coulda
figured it out, if they dared to.
clue:
If you want to keep the zero hour at midnight, make it the local center
of the night. Setting it to sunrise would make more sense. The poles
don't have a time of day.
