12 July 2008 - airline service
< yesterday --

Have you seen the recent news stories about roller coaster accidents?
We know that when fuel prices crank up, airline service rolls down
so that you can’t get a square meal on a round trip. Thus the
airlines have started to advertise the excitement of flying—the
thrilling security checks (will you end up in Gitmo?), the
unpredictable weather diversions (will you end up in Cincinnati?),
the electrifying risk of mechanical breakdown (will you end?). If
the flight is entertaining enough, they’ll be able to leave out
the movie.
clue:
I took a photo of an airline ad, flanked by speaker ads for the
surround sound effect, which compares flying to a roller coaster ride.
give me a clue so sweet and true
