Philosophy is not good at finding truths, assuming you decide what that means. Try science. But it's not bad at pointing out when your thinking does not make sense, which is much more often than I think you think. Even science only cares about clear thinking in a narrow domain. Well, this is an empirical finding, not a theoretical one, but no philosophical system yet has survived philosophical inquiry, so don't worry about finding one. Don't panic, that's a good philosophy.
