After Musk bought Twitter, I concluded that he'd promoted himself to his level of incompetence. Usually it takes an organization, but he could do it all by himself. Now, seeing him wave the chainsaw as wildly as a bat out of hell for leather boots to the face, I realize it's worse. If you're rich and successful enough, you can promote yourself to the level of natural disaster.
