Schroedinger's word

Is quantum mechanics magical? Not in itself, but it does contain magic. Speaking of which, "hocus pocus" is obsolete as a magic word. The contemporary word is "nonstabilizerness" which is magical because it is obviously English, and at the same time obviously not English. Only quantum mechanics, in which a cat may be alive and dead at the same time, can bring about such a superposition of states.
