Did you know that two molecules of the same isotopologue may be
different isotopologs? And then consider: Surely the study of
isotopologs must be called isotopology, but that's completely different
from topology, which is not about iso- and -topes but about homeo- and
-morphisms.

I don't know how many chemists draw the distinction, but... they need
better words for it.
