The world has gone strange. Reality is slowly twisting out of shape in
front of our eyes, like a coffee cup morphing into a tokamak. For the
only time in over fifty years, fusion energy is thought to be other
than twenty years in the future.
clue:
Closer, but only on a laboratory scale. Well, a large laboratory.
Utility scale fusion energy is surely still over twenty years away,
despite optimism.
