To understand something, fully or partially, correctly or incorrectly, is to have a model of it, whether explicit or implicit. There is nothing to touch and nothing to know but information. It's a universal viewpoint; scientists and mystics can both think that way. How do I know it's universal? Well, to argue otherwise you'd use information, right?
