6 March 2021 - bankruptcies

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

I read that, in the rich democracies, business bankruptcies are down during the pandemic. Citizens are unhappy, but businesses are fine, with fewer than the usual exceptions. Risk is down, so no wonder the stock market bounded up so high! It will be politically difficult to drop the subsidies, because pent-up bankruptcies will occur. Do you know what that means? In Europe, business as usual. In the U.S., Bernie Sanders won after all.
