Dear Hong Kong, forgive this letter. Violence and destruction make people angry and leave them less likely to yield. You have your government’s attention, and have no power to compel; your hope is to convince. Wearing an electrical resistor, like Solidarity, will work more good than all the spray paint and crowbars you can wield.
