When I come into power, I will immediately order my Council of Sycophants to offer all their advice as probabilistic predictions, and to report their measured calibration and skill. Of course it’s likely to take them many years to build up strong skill, longer than any one term of office. That is why I cannot be mere Solar System President, but must become King of the World. The reason that I am not yet King of the World is that our old-fashioned current world leaders don’t believe in forecasting.
