31 December 2011 - great corporations

< yesterday -- tomorrow >

From grape juice we graduated to cran-apple juice, then to juices with eight ingredients listed in small type (no longer wholesome but partialsome). It’s not because we like it, it’s because we’re in the clutches of multinationals that mix and match to squeeze pennies. Vacuum cleaners are no different. You can’t escape; a mere consumer is helpless against the knowledge and power of a great corporation. You might as well relax and enjoy it while I plan the mergers to become king of the world.

clue:

I was given a box of chocolates in which, it turned out, each kind was manufactured in a different country—to say nothing of the raw ingredients.

give me a clue so sweet and true
