If you have bug spray or drain cleaner or other dangerous chemicals in your house, you keep them away from small children, at least small children who you like. When it comes to nuclear technology, much of the population acts as small children, which is fair enough because our era demands more maturity than most people can reasonably get. Just be sure to dispose of your smoke detectors safely, they’re nuclear too. I wonder about our political leaders, though: Do they like us?
