The recipe for a revolution is to first create a blank state of affairs, then print new rules on it. Doesn’t that remind you of the universe? It started with a violent but empty Big Bang, then somebody introduced a grand unification epoch to crystallize new laws of physics, and later a Napoleonic inflationary epoch to expand the empire. And did you realize that revolutions are rarely improvements?
