Smart: Oh really? Do you have a counterexample?
Weird: So far I’ve proved it for N=1 or P=0.
Smart: Ah, so you only have an infinite amount left to do.
Weird: This will be a proof by induction.
Smart: OK. It certainly would be a coup to prove something that there’s so much evidence against.
