11 February 2010 - 2GHz

To a human, a reaction that occurs within 200 milliseconds
appears instantaneous. In this moment, so short that it seems
to be no time at all, an ordinary 2GHz computer’s clock ticks
400,000,000 times. If you’re young and somebody else feeds you,
you might be able to count that high in your lifetime. That is
why no robot exists that will shovel your walk—they’re already
too smart to fall for that.
