If Robin Hood came back today, he might become confused enough to create a system like Social Security. Social Security takes money from people who need it to save for retirement, and gives it to people who wouldn’t need it if they had saved for retirement. In the future all government programs will work that way, by stealing from the next generation, because once you start you can’t stop.
