Actually, children once were domesticated, but they went wild again when we stopped letting them grow up in time. Dogs are still ahead in the process, because since domestication they keep juvenile traits their whole lives.

clue:

The more advanced the society, the older you have to be before you’re considered adult. Dogs are more advanced because they’re never fully adult.

take oh take this clue away
