Observation on the Gaza Conflict

Proportionality is not strategically valid, or in other words, you can learn the wrong thing from Socrates.

Referring to the self-perceived role of Socrates as a gadfly. I find it interesting that maintaining the asymmetry of the situation is a goal of both sides in the conflict.
