Did you ever notice that the NSA and the Stasi have the same
name? When the regime falls, will the archives be opened to
the public? Otherwise, have the terrorists won?
clue:
Stasi was East Germany’s Ministerium für Staatssicherheit, or
Ministry for State Security (founded 1950), which means exactly
the same as National Security Agency (founded 1952).
Germans are allowed by law to view their own Stasi files.
