reporter: You have said that leaks will not be tolerated on your watch. How do you justify leaking classified information yourself?
Bush: I have never leaked. I have approved declassification in the public interest, as is my right and duty.
reporter: It looks like a self-serving leak to me. How do you justify it as being in the public interest?
Bush: It supports me. If somebody else were in charge, they’d follow mistaken policies.
reporter: You’re confusing the public interest with your own.
Bush: Am I? We’re so close, sometimes we get mixed up.
