I’m worried about 2003. I’m afraid it’s going to be a terrible shock to us all. You see, 1999 was balanced on a log, waiting to roll over. 2000 was the Odometer Millennium. 2001 was Arthur C. Clarke Year, and, if it matters, the Gregorian millennium. And 2002 is the last palindromic year until 2112. But there is nothing special about 2003. How can we tolerate going back to boring years?
