Recent research shows that a low salt diet may harm your health, even as it lowers your blood pressure. Funny, they didn’t mention that last year.

In flipflopping times like these, it’s best to sit back and remember that science is an ongoing process. No factoid is set in stone. Every conclusion is subject to revision in the light of fresh graduate students. And, above all, remember that it was not nutritionists who gave us the atom bomb.
